Commercial Electrical

What commercial electrical work includes

Lakes Region businesses run from waterfront restaurants to older shops inland. We diagnose, quote, and give a same-day response during business hours.

  • Repairs and troubleshooting: power, outlets, and lighting
  • Wiring, rewiring, and new circuits for equipment
  • Panel replacements and meter upgrades
  • Indoor, exterior, and parking lot lighting
  • Inspections and code corrections in older buildings

Generator Installation

Commercial generator installation

A shop or restaurant cannot sit dark through a Lakes Region outage. We size a standby unit for the building, tie it into the panel, pull the permit, and register the warranty before we leave.

  • Backup for shops, restaurants, offices, and rentals
  • Automatic transfer switch and load calculation
  • Permits, inspection, and code-compliant panel work
  • Startup and warranty registration on Generac and KOHLER units

Questions

Common questions about commercial electrical work

Do you work on older commercial buildings?

Yes. Many Lakes Region shops, restaurants, and offices sit in older structures. We replace outdated wiring, upgrade unsafe panels, and bring lighting and outlets up to code. Sometimes the right job is a targeted circuit, not a full rewire. We open enough of the system to know which, and we quote that.

Can you add more power to support new equipment?

Yes. Kitchen equipment, office tech, and shop machines each want a circuit that is not shared with the rest of the floor. Sharing is how breakers trip. We add circuits when the panel has room, and we upgrade the panel or the meter when it does not.

What is included in a lighting upgrade?

We look at the fixtures you have and recommend safer, more efficient lighting: LED upgrades, recessed fixtures, replacements indoors, and exterior and parking lot lighting so the building is usable after dark.

How do I know if my building's electrical system is safe?

If the system is more than a few decades old, or has not been inspected in a while, it is worth a look. We walk the panel, the receptacles, and the obvious code gaps, then tell you what is unsafe, what is outdated, and what can wait.

Do you install generators and EV chargers for businesses?

Yes. Commercial standby generators and Level 2 chargers for shops, restaurants, and multifamily buildings are separate services, quoted the same way as the electrical work on this page. Call or text 603-619-8875 or request an estimate.
