From the Owner

Meet Michael Stacey and the team

My name is Michael Stacey, owner of Upright Electric. I started my business to provide a higher-quality electrical service to Tuftonboro and the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. During my career as an electrician, I worked for other electrical companies, both large and small. I realized the focus was often on money rather than doing quality work. That's not how I wanted to do things. I decided to open Upright Electric because I take pride in my work and want to serve our community better.

At Upright Electric, customer service is very important. My team and I are organized, efficient, and respectful. We clean up after ourselves because your home matters. Our work is a direct reflection of us, so we always pay attention to detail. We stay current with the National Electrical Code and industry standards. This keeps our skills sharp and our services safe. We never try to upsell. Our goal is to educate our customers, helping you make informed decisions. Many customers have said, “I wish I knew about you before starting this project.”

My favorite part of my job is seeing customers satisfied when we complete a project. Knowing that we fixed a problem and made a home safer is very rewarding.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, and enjoying the lakes that make our area so special.
