Cookie policy: what this website stores on your device
How uprightelectricnh.com uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site, keep it secure, and understand how it is used, and what third-party content on a few pages may store.
At a glance
- Last updated August 25, 2026.
- Cookies and similar technologies support site operation, security, and usage measurement.
- A few pages load third-party content: an interactive map, our messaging forms, and the BBB seal.
- Information you submit on a form is covered by the privacy policy, not this page.
- Nothing here sells or shares your personal information for advertising.

1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what gets stored on your device when you visit uprightelectricnh.com, and what the third-party content on a few of our pages is able to store. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers the personal information you hand us when you request an estimate, fill out a form, or send us a text message.
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to keep, so the site can recognize that browser later. Local storage and similar technologies do the same job by a different mechanism, and this policy treats all of them the same way.
2. Cookies and similar technologies this site uses
Upright Electric uses cookies and similar technologies for three jobs: operating the site, keeping it secure, and understanding how it is used. We do not use them to advertise to you on other sites.
- Hosting and delivery. The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set cookies or similar data related to security, bot management, performance, and delivering the pages. Those are controlled by Cloudflare under its own policies, not by scripts we author on these pages.
- Usage measurement. We use hosting and platform tools to understand traffic and how the site is performing. When a page-side analytics tool such as Google Analytics is active on these pages, it is named in section 4 before it goes live.
- Privacy notice preference. The site can show a short acknowledgment bar about cookies and similar technologies. That bar is off unless we turn it on. When it is on and you accept it, the site writes a single preference to your browser’s local storage under the key
ue-privacy-notice, so the notice does not appear again. The value is a version string, not a profile of you, and it never leaves your device.
The site itself is a set of static pages with no accounts, no login, no shopping cart, and no comment system. Our typefaces are served from our own server rather than from a font provider, and the images, icons, and scripts we ship are our own files.
3. Third-party content on some pages
Three pieces of content are loaded from other companies, each only on the pages that need it. We do not control what those companies store on your device, so their own policies govern it.
- Google Maps. Pages that show an interactive map (the service-area map, or the address pin on the contact page) load that map from Google, which may store data on your device to draw the map and to measure how it is used. See the Google privacy policy.
- FieldPulse. Our text messaging terms and our SMS opt-in form are published by FieldPulse, the platform we run the business on, and are shown on this site inside a frame. Anything you type into the opt-in form is submitted to FieldPulse rather than to this website.
- Better Business Bureau. Our home page, our about page, our electrical services catalog, and our service-area town and region pages show the BBB accreditation seal as an image loaded from the BBB's own server, so that it always reflects our current standing.
4. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
We measure how this site is used so we can keep it working and improve it. That measurement may include data from our hosting provider and from analytics tools we place on these pages. We do not run advertising or remarketing tags, conversion pixels, or social media trackers, and nobody is permitted to use this site to follow you onto another one for advertising.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports how this site appears in Google's search results. It runs nothing on these pages and stores nothing on your device. Its reports are built from Google's own record of what people searched for and of what its crawler found here.
When Google Analytics or another page-side analytics tool is added, this section is updated to name it before that change goes live.
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and nothing on this website is set up to make that possible. If you are a resident of New Hampshire or of another state with a privacy law that gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, you can exercise that right and every other right described in our privacy policy.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Your browser can delete cookies already on your device, block new ones, or warn you each time one is offered. The instructions differ by browser and are in its own help pages, usually under privacy or site settings. The same settings usually let you clear local storage for a site, which is how to reset the privacy notice preference described in section 2 if that notice is enabled.
Blocking cookies may affect security checks at the host, and it may affect the interactive map, which depends on a third party. The rest of the site’s pages will still load.
6. Your rights over your personal information
The rights you have over the personal information we hold, including the right to request a copy of it, to correct it, and to have it deleted, are set out in section 11 of our privacy policy, together with how to exercise them.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add anything to this website that sets a cookie, loads a new analytics tool, or loads content from a new third party, this policy is updated before that change goes live, and the last-updated date on this page changes with it.
