The guarantee does not cover materials, fixtures, or equipment, whether we supplied them or you did. Those items carry whatever warranty their manufacturer offers. It also does not cover work performed by anyone other than Upright Electric. The legal terms are the Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee section of the Terms and Conditions.

Questions about workmanship, materials, and hours
What does the Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee cover?
Workmanship and installation: the quality of the labor we perform and the methods we use, including connections, terminations, mounting, routing, and the way the work is finished. If that workmanship fails, we come back and correct it at no charge. All work is performed to the National Electrical Code and to every applicable local code.
Does the lifetime guarantee cover materials, fixtures, or equipment?
No. Materials, fixtures, and equipment stay under whatever warranty their manufacturer offers, whether we supplied them or you did. Customer-supplied items are included in that exclusion.
Does the guarantee cover generator and EV charger installation?
Yes. The guarantee covers our workmanship and installation on those jobs the same way it covers a panel, a lighting run, or a rough-in. The generator or charger itself is equipment, so it carries the manufacturer’s warranty, not this guarantee.
Does the guarantee apply to commercial electrical work?
Yes. Every job Upright Electric performs is backed by the guarantee, including shops, restaurants, offices, and other commercial work around the Lakes Region.
